Ágnes Sárosi

Hungarian violinist, born in Transylvania, she began her violin and piano studies at the age of six. Between 1984 and 1988, she was a student at the Technical School of Arts in Târgu-Mureş. In 1986, she joined the Târgu-Mureş State Philharmonic Orchestra and began to participate in numerous national competitions, while frequently collaborating, as a soloist, with the Târgu-Mureş State Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 1989, she entered the Lasi Music Conservatory and, in 1990, the Franz Liszt Music Conservatory, in Budapest, where she worked with Leila Rásonyi, Ferenc Rados and Sandor Devich. In 1991, she joined the Camerata Transsylvanica Chamber Orchestra.

With this orchestra, she toured several countries, including Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy and France. In 1994, she joined the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and, in 1997, the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Between 1995 and 1997, she was a member of the Leó Weiner Symphonic Orchestra and a teacher at the A. Racs Music School.

Since September 1997, she has been a violinist at the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa and a teacher at the Superior National Academy of Orchestra.
