She started playing the violin at the age of four in Kristianstad, Sweden. During her studies of modern violin at the Malmö Academy of Music, she also studied baroque violin with Peter Spissky, later specializing with Enrico Gatti and Ryo Terakado, at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where she obtained her master’s degree in 2009.
Antina Hugosson is the second principal violin in the Concerto Copenhagen. She participated in several CD recordings and plays with various ensembles of ancient music, such as B’Rock, Holland Baroque Society, New Dutch Academy, Barokksolistene, Ensemble 1700 or Ensemble Zimmermann.
