Elena studied in France, in Russia, and then perfected with Robert Cohen and Christophe Coin. Her journey of encounters, curiosities, appetites of all kinds has enabled her to develop an art at the crossroads of many paths: from baroque opera (Les Arts Florissants) to improvised music (Fred Frith, Antonin-Tri Hoang), through chamber music (Trio Anpapié, Ensemble Ground Floor), musical theater and the creation of contemporary works (ATEM, with Georges Aperghis, Ensemble S: ic). She recorded the suites for solo cello by J.S. Bach for Son an Ero (5* Classica).
She teaches baroque cello at the Conservatoire du 7ème Arrondissement de Paris – Erik Satie and at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris.
