JACEK KURZYDŁO

He was born in Kraków, where he started his musical training as a modern violinist. From an early age, he developed an interest in ancient music and, after attending several masterclasses, decided to study baroque violin at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, in the department of Ancient Music and Historical Interpretation Practices, in the classes of Kati Debretzeni and Catherine Mackintosh.

As an interpreter, he participated in several festivals in Europe, such as Bach Days (Kraków), Forum Musicum (Warsaw), Académie de Danses et Musiques Anciennes de Sablé (Prague) or Internationale Barocktage Stift Melk (Austria). He collaborates with several ensembles: The English Concert, Vox Luminis, Dunedin Consort, Suonar Cantando, Ludovice Ensemble, Camera Concert, Collegium Musicum Den Haag, New Silesia, Luthers Bach Ensemble, I Buoni Antichi, Johann Christian Consort, Ensemble Barocum, among others.
